Details

Flat corrugated board that has been cut, slotted and scored is called a “blank.” Box blanks may need glue, stitching or tape at the box joints for extra reinforcement. Liquid adhesive adheres glue tabs inside a box. Tabs can also be stitched together using industrial staples, while tape is used for boxes without tabs. Wax coating on corrugated board provides reinforced protection from weather and temperature, which is necessary if your product requires transport, long-term storage or refrigeration. Corrugated box fluting (wavy sheets of containerboard glued between two sheets of linerboard) offers resistance to bending and external pressure. Our design team can help you determine the ideal box structure for your product.
