Founded in 1984 in Collinsville, Alabama, Jamel Containers soon relocated to Fort Payne, Alabama to become the leading packaging supplier for the area’s sock industry. Looking for business in larger markets, Jamel relocated again in 2011 to a 52,000-square-foot plant on Chattanooga’s Southside and began serving additional industries including manufacturing goods, health products and foods, among others. In 2017 Jamel purchased and moved into 250,000 plus square-foot building in the Alton Park area of Chattanooga to support their continued growth. Jamel Containers’ customer base has increased to more than 200 companies within 150 miles of Chattanooga and continues to grow as its experienced team remains focused on exceptional customer service, quality production and quick turn-around time.
